Privacy Notice
What Warp Yard collects, why, and who can see it. This notice adds to Warp's Privacy Policy, which covers Warp as a whole.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
1.Who this covers
This notice applies to Warp Yard, the yard management software from Warp Technology, Co. (“Warp”), including the driver check-in page and the carrier booking portal. Warp’s Privacy Policy also applies. Where the two differ for Warp Yard, this notice controls.
Each yard is run by a Warp customer. That customer decides what is recorded about trucks, trailers, and visits at its yard, and Warp handles that information on the customer’s behalf as its service provider. If you are a driver or carrier, the yard you visit is responsible for its records about you.
2.What we collect
- Account details: your name, work email, company, and role in the yard. Your password is held by Warp’s sign-in service. For accounts created inside Warp Yard, it is stored only as a salted hash.
- Yard records: trailers and containers, carriers, seal numbers, appointment times, door assignments, moves, inspection notes, reefer temperatures, and the history of who did what and when.
- Driver details: a driver’s name, phone number, and truck plate, entered by the gate or by the driver on the check-in page, plus any photos of the trailer, seal, or paperwork taken at the gate.
- Carrier bookings: the appointment details a carrier enters in the booking portal.
- Warp shipments: if your company ships with Warp, shipment details headed to your facility, such as reference numbers, pallet counts, and delivery windows, so they appear on your dock schedule.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs, used to keep the Service secure and working, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
3.Cookies
Warp Yard sets one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other sites.
4.How we use it
To run the yard: show who is on site and where, schedule docks, calculate dwell and detention, send the alerts and webhooks your yard turns on, keep the Service secure, and help when you contact support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5.Who can see it
- People at your yard whom an admin has added, according to their role. Data is kept separate for each customer, and one customer’s users cannot see another’s yard.
- Carriers see only their own appointments, through the booking link the yard gives them.
- Systems your yard connects through the API or webhooks receive the data the yard chooses to send them.
- Service providers that host and run Warp Yard for us: Vercel (application hosting) and Neon (database). They may use the data only to provide their services to Warp.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people, the Service, or Warp.
6.How we protect it
Connections use TLS. Warp sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest, API keys are stored only as hashes and shown once when created, webhooks are signed, and access inside a yard is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, change, or loss.
7.How long we keep it
We keep yard records while the yard’s account is active, so its history and reports stay complete. When a yard closes its account or asks us to, we delete its data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer. Backups age out on their normal schedule after that.
8.Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@wearewarp.com. If you are a driver or carrier, you can also ask the yard you visited, since it controls its records about you. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what is collected. Warp does not sell personal information.
9.Changes
If this notice changes, we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account admins about material changes in advance.
